Interprets, develops, communicates, updates, and monitors agency, governmental, and/or program policies and procedures recommends improvement when necessary writes/revises same and disseminates information to staff.
Makes final decisions regarding the resolution of abuse and neglect complaints.Īpproves the filing of court actions on behalf of clients determines the course of legal action for same.Īpproves treatment plans and staff training for provision of services. Serves as a liaison and/or member of various committees, boards, and/or teams and collaborates, persuades, presents reports to, and negotiates with others outside own work area to coordinate efforts and maintain cooperative and efficient relations. Revises and monitors the Core Services and Independent Living Services Plan contracts with providers and monitors provision of services. Oversees staff functions associated with department services, including: sexual abuse investigation and treatment, crisis intervention, physical abuse, child neglect assessment, foster care, delinquent youth youth in conflict, daycare, core services, intake process, investigation/assessment, therapeutic services, and foster homes.Īssists in the formulation of the budget, including: making recommendations requesting funds and maintaining/tracking budget accounts/records throughout year.
